Pre-Heater temperature is higher than the preset temperature.
When you set the print heater higher than the pre-heater, the heat from the print-heater is transferred to the pre-heater. That's why the temperature is higher than the preset temperature.
The head carriage pauses for a long time at both ends during printing.
This may occur when there is a problem on the driver of the network adapter. It can be solved by updating the network adapter driver that is installed on the PC.
Download the latest version of the driver from the website of the network adapter supplier and see if the problem is solved.
If the printer is connected to PC directly by a cross cable, some pause may remain.
To reduce the pause time, it is recommended to output the print data through a network.
Is there a limitation to the maximum length of a file for printing and cutting?
Windows driver :
Windows driver Bitmap data from Illustrator > 2.3m Bitmap OFF from Illustrator > 1.15m
Roland COLORIP:
RCR 720dpix1440dpi > 17.6m Others dpi > 35.2m
Roland VersaWorks:
No limit.
When combining print and cut, the cutting outline isn't centered in the middle of the print.
You can minimize the symptom by following these instructions:
1. Use the middle pinch rollers
If you are not using the middle pinch rollers when performing Print & Cut, the media can't be fed straight and it sometimes causes badly cut out outlines. Please use the middle pinch rollers and see what happens. (You need to have enough drying time to avoid the middle pinch rollers ruining the print.)
2. Print & Cut adjustment at 3 positions of the media
Please print the test pattern of the Manual Print & Cut adjustment at the Left, Center and Right of the media, and find the value that is good for all 3 positions. If you set the best value of the Left and Right sides, you might experience misalignment at the center. So, please find the value that minimizes the shifting amount for all 3 positions.
If these things don't help, please contact your dealer.

When does the message "TEMPERATURE IS TOO HIGH" appear?
The error appears if 40°C (room temperature) or more is detected when turning on the secondary power.
After the secondary power is turned ON, the error appears if 42°C or more is detected.
When does the message "TEMPERATURE IS TOO LOW" appear?
The error appears if 5°C (room temperature) or less is detected when turning on the secondary power.
After the secondary power is turned ON, the error appears if 2°C or less is detected.
Can I use FPG2 ink in an FJ-600/500/400?
It is not possible to use the FPG2 ink in an FJ-600/500/400.
How can I check if my Roland machine is compatible with Windows 7?

Please note that problems that are not mentioned also may occur.
