Digitally printed photos of the highest qualityPhotographers have extremely high standards for their photo prints - the contrast and tone have to be well matched, just as every detail in the picture needs to be clear. Today, it is possible to achieve this high standard with Roland's SOLJET PRO III and VS-640 Inkjet printers and Roland's waterproof ECO-SOL MAX inks. "It is fantastic to discover that the technology has become so advanced that it is possible to move outside the traditional photographic media and production methods." - Helga Theilgaard, renowned Danish photographer
Proven abilitiesFine art photographs are traditionally printed on large photostatic printers. However, in 2009, when Photographer Helga C. Theilgaard turned to Roland DGN for assistance, Roland DG was presented with an exciting opportunity to prove the ability of the Inkjet printers. The XJ-740 was chosen for this photo project and performed beautifully, successfully meeting the challenges of the exacting world of photographic printing. Digital printing is an attractive alternative to more traditional production methods, providing both quality and cost savings - In the case of Helga Theilgaard, she saved one third of her total budget and the additional time and expense of lamination.
Above pictures are by Danish photographer Helga C. Theilgaard, printed for her outdoor exhibition "The Rootless" which was presented in Copenhagen in January 2010. |
