Roland DG is constantly working on the development of new products for specific markets. The LEC-330, LEC-540 and XC-540MT are example of these innovations as ideal printers/cutters for the packaging industry.

 

 

The LEC-330 UV printer/cutter has several advantages for the packaging and label market. The LEC-330 allows you to make realistic prototypes and proofs. The prints have the look and feel of the actual product since the LEC-330 prints on those materials that are effectively used in production. The LEC-330 uses UV inks that dry under the influence of LED lamps. These lamps don't produce heat, so printing on heat sensitive materials like shrink-wrap film is possible. The LEC-330 also prints on self-adhesive PVC, paper, synthetic and natural leather, mesh, BOPP, PE, PET and many other media. The LEC-330 allows you to produce small series. Outsourcing is no longer needed and the production of plates and films is superfluous.

 

Both product lines come with a white ink option, integrated printing and die cutting capabilities, a maximum print resolution of 1440 dpi, bundled VersaWorks RIP software and Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology for superior image quality in every print mode.
