Doming, for original gadgets and labels

Doming applications are made by dripping a crystal-clear resin onto a print. This creates a beautiful three dimensional effect. The doming technique is often used to make a variety of applications like key rings, decals and name tags. It is even possible to apply doming on textile.

 

How do you proceed?

Making doming labels can be done easily by following the instructions below:

• Print and cut a design with a Roland DG printer/cutter.
• Remove the excessive foil around the print and spray resin on the print. You can do this manually or mechanically.
• The resin divides evenly, without flowing out.

 

The result is a lovely 3D sticker that is very durable since the resin protects the sticker against water, heat and scratches.
