Dental crowns and bridges are typically produced by dental labs.  Cosmetic dentistry standards require crowns to closely match the natural tooth. Zirconia (zirconium dioxide, ZrO₂) is a ceramic material with excellent durability and biocompatibility. Today, it is widely used for dental prostheses because of its translucent, white appearance.

With Roland's DWX-30 it has become simple, cost-effective and clean to produce copings and crowns in even the smallest labs. You no longer need a dedicated production room, just as in-house production of copings and crowns can be initiated without the usual costly investment.
